1790 The manufacturer Maria Maltsova founded
a crystal factory near the village of Dyatkovo on the Olshanka
river.
1829 The factory's produce was highly appreciated
by the jury of the first All-Russian Exhibition of manufactures.
I.A.Maltsov, the owner of the factory, was awarded a "Big
Gold Star".
1851 The produce of the Dyatkovo crystal
factory was first displayed at an international exhibition.
1875 The Dyatkovo crystal factory was renamed
into a plant
1885 L.N.Tolstoy visited Dyatkovo and the
plant
1894 The Stockholders Organization of the
Maltsov plants was founded
1893 The plant's produce was awarded some
special medals at the International Exhibition in Chicago
1905 The workers of the plant held a number
of political strikes and meetings
1918 The Decree of the All-Russian People's
Economy Council's Presidium declared the factories of the
Stock- holders Organization of the Maltsov plants property
of the RSFSR
1925 A school of factory-plant apprenticeship
was started at the plant
1936 A Stakhanov movement was in the swing
at the plant. The brigade of diamond-polishers headed by Alexander
Naidyonov became the first Stakhanov brigade
1937 The plant was presented with the Challenge
Banner of the Light Industry People's Committee and the Trade
Unions Central Committee for achievements in socialist competition
1941 The plant was evacuated to the Mari
ASSR and the Penza region and was dislocated at the plants
"Mariets" and "The Red Giant"
1945 The first plant chimney and the building
of the processing shop were reconstructed. The glassfounding
furnace ¹2 was started; the plant started its production process
1949 The line production method of the
produce diamond-cutting was first put into practice at the
plant. The initiator of this method was the processing shop
superintendent N.I.Zyablov
1958 The plant participates in the World
Exhibition in Brussels. The produce of the Dyatkovo plant
was awarded a Bronze Medal
1966 The plant was visited by the world
first cosmonaut Yu.A.Gagarin
1966 "The Labour Red Banner"
Order was awarded to the Dyatkovo crystal plant for achievements
in fulfilling the state targets in producing top-artistic
crystalware
1967 The memorial Banner of the RSFSR Supreme
Soviet, the RSFSR Council of Ministers and the USSR Trade
Unions Central Committee was presented to the plant's collective
at its grand meeting
1972 A branch of the plant was started
1980 The International prize "The
Gold Mercury" for production development and international
cooperation
1992 The Dyatkovo crystal plant was transformed
into the USO "Dyatkovo Crystal"
1993 Mexico. "The International Diamond
Star for Quality"
1993 Madrid." The International Gold
Star" for distinction in creating image and for quality
